  • B.S. Exercise Science

  • Licensed and Insured Massage Therapist: MA#104080

I am dedicated to simplifying wellness and helping anyone that I can to feel good and therefore enjoy a higher quality of life.

I graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with a bachelors degree in Exercise Science. During my four year program, I learned the finer intricacies of the human body as well as the physiological systems governing our overall health and wellness. All of my professors were experts in the field with years of experience and their own unique perspectives and experiences helping to shape their course instruction. Two of my mentors, Dr. Bochette and Dr. Erickson, both Doctors of Physical Therapy, helped me to gain an even deeper understanding of the neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems in the human body and how to address maladaptive conditions through my own critical thinking rather than simply following a protocol or procedure out of a textbook. I then took this understanding and obtained my CSCS certification, the gold standard for strength and conditioning certifications, and went on to work with kids developing healthy movement patterns, adults engaging in functional fitness of varying levels of difficulty, athletes conducting performance enhancing training, and older adults in retirement simply looking to be more active.

As I worked with more and more clients, one thing became clear, proper rest and recovery is a must. At the time, I was working with a massage therapist with 10+ years of experience, who helped me understand how powerful massage can be for our overall wellness , regardless of your lifestyle. After doing extensive research, I decided to go back to school to get my massage therapy license. During my program, I was trained in all of the various massage modalities and was able to develop my own unique style of massage that blends traditional techniques with my own innovative approach based upon my understanding of the human body. I soon became known as the best massage therapist at the school at the time. All of my peers and all of the clientele that came into the clinic would ask for me as they felt I was providing something that the other massage therapists weren’t.

My unique background provides me with the expertise to be able to identify and address more complex issues that you may be experiencing without even knowing it, such as myofascial adhesions/restrictions and maladaptive muscular activation patterns resulting in chronic pain and/or postural distortions.

With a joyful spirit and a keen understanding of the body’s needs, I bring relief right to your doorstep. Whether you're unwinding after a long day or seeking reprieve from stress, my massages will leave you feeling rejuvenated.
